For each of these prompts, please come to class with a clear understanding of the prompt's purpose. We will work in class on deconstructing the prompt--looking at how each passage is composed. Feel free to annotate the text as desired-remember that this involves writing notes in the margins,,, You will not be directed to write a “written” response-you will “simply” share orally your analyses of the passages. If desired, examine the student samples released by the College Board. 

I will check that you have entered Room 404 with your copies of these passages. Be advised that I will collect these passages prior to the end of the Band to prevent the "sharing" of your work with students in the other Bands.
