Schedule for Week of 27 May:
For Tuesday, 28 May-you must read Chapters 9-14 of  The Catcher in the Rye. Be prepared for a TEN question quiz over these chapters. Your Root Word Quiz has been postponed until Friday, 31 May.

Please be advised that if you do not bring the text to class-you will NOT be permitted to join a Cooperative Learning Group! Furthermore, you will NOT receive the same grade on the written activities if you are NOT participating in the answering of the questions AND if you are DOMINATING-preventing others from participating! I find it puzzling how the same students all year long simply do NOT participate in whole-class and/or small group discussions. How are you going to "survive" in a college classroom?

For those students absent on Friday, 24 May: You will NOT join a group-you will form a "new" group with other students who were absent.

After the quiz, you will have approximately 12 minutes to complete the activity for Chapters 4-8 before beginning the Chapter 9-14 study guide.



The 2013 Free Response Questions are now available for you to download-if desired. Student sample essays and rubrics are not yet available. For a fee, you can request that your written responses be sent to you.
