I am looking forward to seeing everyone in class on Monday and Tuesday, sharing your reactions and offering me "feedback" on what I can do differently to prepare the "new" group of students for the exam beginning in September.

For those students taking the AP US History examination, remember to bring a watch with you, along with pens and pencils. I know everyone will do well!

Root Word Quiz: Friday, 17 May.

We will begin the reading of The Catcher in the Rye  the week of 20 May.

You will return your text book on Friday, 17 May.

"I wonder why Diedrich posted this link to some essay about the text we are reading? He will probably give us specific information about what he wants us to do with it-other than to just engage in a close reading-I bet we will have to submit a written response/reaction... For fun, I am going to read it now and annotate it as I read so I will be prepared for the assignment."
