Schedule for Week of 8 October

NOTE: I was more than generous with the scoring of the Chapter 2 AP Style MC Question CLA. (8 Questions/-10 points for each incorrect response +10 points added for those groups that may have missed a "troublesome" question.)

Tuesday, 9 October: ALL BANDS-Turn-in HOMEWORK identified on the last slide of power point post (see below). Bring your Language of Composition textbook to class today-DO NOT ASK TO GO TO YOUR LOCKER TO RETRIEVE Topic: Introduction to Synthesizing Sources

Wednesday, 10 October: No need to bring your textbook today. We will continue the lesson on Tuesday's topic.

Thursday, 11 October: ALL BANDS: Be prepared for a QUIZ on either Chapter 4 OR on Chapter 5 of The Great Gatsby. I know what you are thinking... Bring your novel to class-make sure you read BOTH Chapters in preparation for class today.

Friday, 12 October: ALL BANDS-Bring The Great Gatsby to class today. SAT Vocabulary Quiz: List 5 (SEVEN words for List 5 and THREE words from List 4/Do I have to keep reminding you about this?
