I recommend that you browse the reference section at Barnes and Noble, Borders (before they close their doors), a public library or the Internet. Select a text that appeals to you. HOWEVER, I am requiring the following resource that specifically prepares for the AP- style multiple choice questions. We will use this text in class, going beyond the mere explanations of the correct answers -focusing on the "rhetoric" of the passage. I urge everyone scoring a 2 to have his/her bubble-sheet re-scored. I was shocked that some of the "top" students in the classes received this score. Furthermore, I would even suggest to those scoring a "3" to do the same if you think you may have erased and/or made stray marks on your response sheet.
