I am NOT requesting that you purchase a SPECIFIC text for the preparation of the exam (5 Steps to a 5, Cliffs, Kaplan, Princeton, etc.). I recommend that you browse the reference section at Barnes and Noble, Borders (before they close their doors), a public library or the Internet. Select a text that appeals to you. HOWEVER, I am requiring the following resource that specifically prepares for the AP- style multiple choice questions. We will use this text in class, going beyond the mere explanations of the correct answers -focusing on the "rhetoric" of the passage. If you plan on taking other AP Exams, I recommend that you purchase the corresponding "500 AP Question" resource for that exam. Please Note: You do NOT have to be enrolled in a AP class to take an AP examination in May.
